Remembering Meditation

I'm not sure how it all starts, it's like my thoughts are popcorn going off in my brain. I try to make each pen stroke compliment the last one, so they're happy together. Someone once asked me what I think about when I do this. My answer was. "I think about everything, and nothing at all." She replied, " Keep doing that Jay, keep doing that." I've learned that meditation is an attempt at reducing the inane chatter in our minds, so we become more in touch with our true selves. Art replaces meditation for me. In fact from what I know about meditation, which is admittedly limited although extensive, I believe I learned on my own at an early age how to travel beyond any experiences I've heard describing the meditative state. In fact, I can fly.
